Legal Training GDPR & Data Protection

We provide a wide range of training, webinars and workshops tailored to suit your business requirements on data protection and privacy matters.

In the area of data protection, which continues to evolve with more and more consumers focusing on privacy, we can provide training, webinars and workshops for managers, HR staff and other individuals on key compliance matters, such as record keeping, policies, procedures and how to deal with issues as they arise.

These training sessions will be tailored to suit your industry and highlight the key issues you should consider. Our training builds on our vast experience of dealing with data protection compliance (including GDPR), subject access rights and the impact of Brexit.

Workshops

Our Data Protection workshops are designed to be highly interactive and are completely tailored to suit your needs, whether they be a simple refresh, a requirement for full training or a more in-depth session on a specific requirement, and each workshop will provide scenarios to be examined by attendees. Our workshops are led by our Partners who specialise in the area of data protection and information management, and are regular authors and speakers in this area.

Online Training

We can provide online training on a subscription basis which is a useful tool for reaching large audiences quickly at a time and place that is convenient to them.

Online training modules include: purpose and application of data protection legislation, types of personal data, requirements when processing data (both electronic and manual records), storing and securing personal data, data subjects' rights, including data subject access requests, and mock scenarios to test your knowledge.

Face-to-Face Training

We can provide interactive face-to-face training (on- or off-site) to allow staff to ask questions and work through practical examples. This training can be a general overview of data protection or we can provide specific tailored workshops for your market sector and on key issues, such as responding to subject access requests, dealing with personal data breaches, appointing data processors and drafting compliant contracts, charity governance, fundraising and direct marketing.
