Chirmorie Wind Farm Project

Acting for the developer in the site assembly of numerous land, access and cabling agreements for leases and servitudes for the Chirmorie Wind Farm Project, an 80MW 21-turbine consented project located approximately 7km south-west of Barrhill, South Ayrshire.

Battery storage projects

Advising on two big battery storage projects at Hunterston and Kincardine – Europe's two biggest storage facilities. Our work involved putting together all of the land agreements, including a lease option agreement for the main site (supported by standard securities), access rights and cabling rights.

Cumberhead Wind Farm

Acting in the completion of land agreements for the 50MW Cumberhead Wind Farm ahead of its sale to Octopus Renewables Infrastructure Trust plc in September 2021.

Hydro scheme

Advising on a proposed hydro scheme with possible battery storage and solar PV installations, including dealing with agricultural tenancies.

Caithness Wind Farm

Advising in relation to a 12-turbine wind farm in Caithness and dealing with complex agricultural and commercial lease matters.

Wind Farm Extensions

Providing advice in relation to proposed servitudes required by Scottish Power in relation to wind farm extensions in Ayrshire.

Dumbarton Solar Array

Acting in relation to an 80MW solar array in Dumbarton, including a private wire agreement for an industrial offtaker.
