Louise qualified in 2005 and, with a background in Commercial Property, has expertise on Environmental, Transport and Parliamentary matters.

Her environmental experience relates to the Contaminated Land Regime, waste management licensing, PPC Permitting, water and sewerage matters and nuisance, including advising public bodies and private sector parties on site risk investigations, due diligence and reliance, environmental liability and risk apportionment and operational consent matters affecting a broad range of premises ranging from sawmills to explosives manufacturing facilities.

Louise provides Real Estate and Corporate support on property purchases and business acquisitions ranging from distillery purchases to a fish rearing and breeding business purchase.

Her extensive Transport experience includes acting on ports, harbours, railways, trams and road matters, including securing Harbour Empowerment and Harbour Revision Orders for a number of clients and acting for train operating companies in relation to leasing operational premises.

Louise also has Parliamentary experience, including providing parliamentary briefings and lodging objections to Bills before the Scottish Parliament.

Louise is a member of the United Kingdom Environmental Law Association (UKELA).
