Hazel has specialised in employment law since qualifying as a solicitor in 2005. In 2015 she was accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a Specialist in Employment Law.
Hazel has experience in dealing with both contentious and non-contentious issues and represents clients at employment tribunals throughout the UK.
Hazel provides tailored advice on all aspects of employment law including contracts of employment, handbooks and policy documentation; the enforcement of restrictive covenants; negotiating compromise agreements; handling disciplinary and grievance issues; managing performance and ill health; individual and collective consultation and redundancy dismissals and redundancies; discrimination law (including equal pay); business restructure and the transfer of undertakings; and immigration law for employers.
Hazel also has a degree in human resource management and is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
