Rebecca has experience in drafting a wide range of commercial contracts, as well as providing advice in terms of risk and the negotiation of such contracts. She also assists clients with IP protection, strategy and management advice (including advising on potential and/or actual infringements of IP rights) and regularly conducts IP audits for clients.
Rebecca also has experience of conducting data protection audits for a wide range of clients (including various charities and third sector organisations) and assisting clients with GDPR preparation and remediation work.
In addition, Rebecca advises clients on the implications of UK and EU competition law, including advice in relation to mergers and acquisitions, anti-competitive clauses and/or agreements as well as land agreements. Recently, Rebecca was involved in developing an online training module focused on competition law.
Rebecca has a keen interest in the Food & Drink and Technology and Media & Telecoms sectors. She also enjoys writing articles and updates for clients, and her article on “Private Enforcement of Competition Law in the UK” was published in Business Law Review in June 2017.
Rebecca also recently contributed to the American Bar Association's 'Business Law Today', answering some of the frequently asked questions about Artificial Intelligence in the healthcare sector.
Rebecca is a member of the firm's Diversity and Wellbeing Forum where she focuses on our mental health initiatives and training.
