Our People Louise Mahon

Selling a business you have grown from the kitchen table can be a very nerve-wracking experience but thanks to the truly amazing Louise Mahon and her team at MacRoberts, we can confirm no nerves were wracked! We felt we were in very safe hands for the whole process, which not only covered the acquisition but also our reinvestment into the larger group. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Louise has over 20 years experience in advising on all areas of corporate law and transactions, including M&A, MBOs, reorganisations, investments, joint ventures, and shareholder and board advisory work. Her clients come from all sectors of the economy, in particular financial services, professional practices, technology and retail.

Having worked in private practice in Scotland, Manchester and London and also as in-house counsel at a private equity firm in London, Louise understands the importance of pragmatic solutions-driven advice and reliable client service.

In addition, Louise's work contributed to the firm winning Corporate & Commercial Team of the Year at the Scottish Legal Awards 2020, and being Highly Commended for M&A Team of the Year (Mid-Sized Deal) at the British Legal Awards 2019.
