Jamie advises employers and employees in relation to all aspects of employment law and HR issues, including delivering training to clients across all areas. He represents clients in the Employment Tribunal, and has represented clients in Scotland, England & Wales, and Northern Ireland.
Jamie advises employees and employers of all sizes and across a wide range of sectors. Examples of his work include advising a large public sector employer in relation to a voluntary severance scheme; representing a large third sector employer in a tribunal claim for failure to provide Employee Liability Information under the TUPE Regulations; advising an international employer in the food and drink sector in relation to the employment of a senior executive and updating contracts of employment for all staff; and advising an international manufacturing company in relation to relocating staff from Germany to Scotland.
Jamie is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association (ELA) (UK), and writes various articles on employment law (having been published in Scottish Legal News, Business Insider and HR Magazine). Jamie is also a member of our GiveSomethingMac! Committee where we create firm-wide initiatives to support local charities.
