MacRoberts supports Festival of Youth Enterprise 2021

MacRoberts is very proud to be sponsoring Young Enterprise Scotland’s Festival of Youth Enterprise 2021 which began on Tuesday 1 June. This week-long event celebrates the entrepreneurial successes of Scotland’s young people whilst providing a huge range of support for those looking to climb the enterprise ladder.

MacRoberts has supported the Festival of Youth Enterprise for many years. Gillian McCluskey, Associate in our Commercial Dispute Resolution team sits on the Board and said:

My desire to get involved was from the perspective of using my experience to ‘give back’ to such an excellent charity. I am proud to be contributing to an organisation that helps to create opportunities and motivate young people to make the best of themselves in life.’

The line-up is packed full of invaluable conversations with special guests such as MSP Jamie Hepburn, entrepreneurs Bayile Adeoti and Alison Wood, and the Minister for HE and FE.

Additionally, MacRoberts is very pleased to have sponsored the Young Enterprise Scotland Journey Award, and would like to congratulate the ‘Scots Pines’ from Stranraer Academy, who are the winners of this award.

Geoff Leask, Chief Executive of Young Enterprise Scotland said:

‘I am delighted to have worked in partnership with MacRoberts for this award. The firm shares the Young Enterprise values of providing support and encouragement to young people with their career in business.’
