Leading Scottish law firm MacRoberts has been shortlisted for Corporate Deal Team of the Year and Family Law Team of the Year at the Scottish Legal Awards 2018. Corporate Partner, Michael Kelly, has also been named as a finalist for Lawyer of the Year.
The success follows a period of development for the firm in the family law area, with the arrival of Marika Franceschi, Partner, and her team from Shoosmiths. Similarly, the Corporate team enjoyed an exceptional year working on a fantastic range of deals right across the Scottish economy. Michael Kelly, Partner, was instrumental in many of these deals and is recognised as one of Scotland’s most innovative and unique corporate lawyers. He advises on the full spectrum of corporate and commercial matters for some of the firm’s most significant clients, including blue chip organisations, SMEs and UK PLCs, with a particular focus on M&A and investment work.
