This is a real estate role reporting principally to Ian Bowie and John McQuillan, but working with other partners in the Glasgow Real Estate team when required.
The successful candidate will be exposed to a range of real estate work. This is a busy team and there will be contact with clients and their other advisors on a day-to-day basis.
Applicants should have a good knowledge of real estate law and practice. The applicant should be proactive and feel comfortable working either individually or as part of a team.
Applicants with experience in some or all of the following areas would be preferred:
- real estate work in energy and resources
- acting for commercial occupiers
- property investment
- development related work, particularly commercial leasing acting for a landlord/developer liaising with construction lawyers on development issues
Essential Skills and Qualifications
In addition to being able to demonstrate relevant legal experience, the successful candidate will require excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Applicants will have to be able to juggle a busy and varied workload, have an enthusiastic approach to work and enjoy working in a team environment.
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday, 9.00 am - 5.00pm.
