Summer Placements

Summer Placements

MacRoberts offers law students the opportunity the gain insight into our business, values, culture and people during our summer placement programme. Placements last for four weeks and take place between June and August.

A summer placement will provide invaluable experience, allowing you to choose a firm which is right for you and prepare you for your forthcoming traineeship. You will be placed in two of our practice groups and be given the chance to work alongside our lawyers on a number of live matters and have exposure to a number of our clients. You will be given responsibility from day one. We will assign you a mentor within your department who will offer you day to day support and guidance during your placement and you will also have the opportunity to network with our current trainees and listen to their experience of our firm.
