Victoria has over 10 years’ experience advising on a broad spectrum of corporate law matters involving businesses of all sizes, from local Scottish family businesses to multinationals and PLCs.

Victoria’s primary focus is working with buyers and sellers from all sectors on mergers and acquisitions as well as advising on group re-organisations, equity investments, joint ventures, management buyouts, share buybacks and general corporate governance matters, including articles of association and shareholder agreements. In addition, Victoria is an integral part of the firm’s Healthcare sector group, with a particular focus on dental and pharmacy transactions.

Some of Victoria’s recent work highlights include advising on the UK aspects of a large scale restructuring project for a global software company, assisting with a complex joint venture involving various engineering entities based in the UK and Kazakhstan, creation and sale of a well-established Scottish engineering business to an employee ownership trust, the management buyout of a thriving Glasgow-based construction business, acting for buyers and sellers in over 40 transactions in the dental sector, and drafting and negotiating English law and Scots law contracts.

As part of her legal studies at the University of Strathclyde, Victoria spent a year studying at the University of Toulouse in France and obtained a diploma in European legal studies.

In addition, Victoria's work contributed to the firm winning Corporate & Commercial Team of the Year at the Scottish Legal Awards 2020, and being Highly Commended for M&A Team of the Year (Mid-Sized Deal) at the British Legal Awards 2019.
