Sue Anne MacAulay

Associate

Sue Anne provides advice on a broad range of family law matters, including divorce, financial issues arising from separation, cohabitation claims, pre/post-nuptial agreements, protective remedies in the form of interdicts and matters involving children.

Sue Anne works hard to find the best solution for each client’s set of circumstances and is committed to assisting clients to resolve their disputes without the need for a contested court action. However, when a situation cannot be resolved through negotiation, Sue Anne can litigate effectively for her clients. She has experience in appearing in Sheriff Courts throughout Scotland, and she also has experience in instructing Counsel for actions in the Court of Session. Sue Anne has an interest in the French language and undertook an ERASMUS year at the University of Strasbourg studying French law. Sue Anne volunteers at the Scottish Child Law Centre where she advises on a variety of enquiries on family law issues. She is also a member of the Family Law Association.
