Manahil advises and assists on a broad range of complex family law matters in both the Sheriff Court and Court of Session, including divorce, financial issues arising from separation and matters involving child residence and contact disputes, child relocation and Petitions under the Hague Convention on International Child Abduction. Experience in appearing in Sheriff Courts throughout Scotland and instructing Counsel in high value and complex actions in the Court of Session.

Manahil also supports Shakti’s Women Aid in providing fortnightly legal drop in sessions and informative sessions on a pro bono basis to support women, children and young people from black ethnic minority backgrounds who are experiencing / have experienced, domestic abuse from a partner, ex-partner, and/ or other members of the household where they may not otherwise have the means to access such advice.
