About Jozanne

Jozanne specialises in data protection, anti-bribery and corruption, commercial arrangements and intellectual property. She advises on a full range of intellectual property and commercial arrangements and agreements, including advising on commercialisation, risk and tailored drafting of commercial contracts, with particular expertise in the technology and medical device spheres.

Her regulatory experience is built in the context of providing pragmatic advice on commercial arrangements, advising clients (ranging from start-up enterprises to those with global operations) on data governance and data protection rules in day-to-day operations and in connection with business change or new projects.

Her work includes advising on: data sharing (locally and cross-border); processing of data in connection with technologies; lawful basis; changes to processing purposes; privacy impact assessments; accountability practices and procedures; and preparing documentation (privacy notices, contractual clauses, data sharing and processing agreements/protocols and data protection and associated policies and procedures).

Jozanne also has extensive regulatory auditing and reporting experience and has worked with clients on a secondment basis at their premises.

Jozanne is also part of MacRoberts’ Charities and Third Sector team, advising clients on all manner of contractual and data protection matters, and is currently a trustee of a Glasgow charity.

Jozanne has been listed as a Rising Star for Charities & Not-for-Profit in the Legal 500 2020 edition.
