Gary advises on all areas of corporate law and has significant experience of a range of transactions in a wide variety of sectors involving businesses of all sizes, from local Scottish family businesses to multinationals, frequently with a cross-border element, and including mergers, acquisitions, reconstructions, disposals, investments and joint ventures.

As well as transactional work, he regularly advises on directors’ duties, shareholder and partnership matters, and other corporate governance issues.

Gary is ranked for Corporate/M&A in the 2024 edition of Chambers UK Guide to the Legal Profession.

In addition, Gary's work contributed to the firm winning Corporate & Commercial Team of the Year at the Scottish Legal Awards 2020, and being Highly Commended for M&A Team of the Year (Mid-Sized Deal) at the British Legal Awards 2019.
