Carole is a Partner in our Private Client team.

Carole acts as executrix, trustee and adviser to a wide range of individuals, trusts, charities and family businesses and specialises in simple and complex trust arrangements, particularly those for family members requiring special protection.

Carole deals with matters of family conflict and frequently represents the interests of those with inheritance claims. She takes a proactive approach offering guidance on powers of attorney, guardianships, long-term care and looking after the affairs of the elderly.

She has significant experience in asset protection and guiding clients through the complexities of tax planning. Her astute approach is evidenced by the specialist advice she provides to a wide range of solicitors, financial advisers and accountants throughout Scotland.

Carole is a frequent lecturer on inheritance tax planning and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Carole is ranked as a Leader in the Field for Private Wealth Law in the 2024 edition of Chambers UK Guide to the Legal Profession.
