The world of procurement continues post-Brexit and, pending sight of proposed new legislation, our team provides an update on areas of current focus and interest:
- New procurement thresholds to come into effect from 1 January 2022 were published on 29 October.
- A summary of the proposed procurement reform themes.
- The publication of the Feeley Report has been accompanied by renewed focus on social and health care procurement. Pending publication of the draft proposals on proposed legislative reform to the procurement rules, focus has been on maximising and understanding the flexibilities available under the current procurement regime.
Expertise
If you are interested in receiving further information on any of the above, MacRoberts will be hosting a session on health and social care procurement in January 2022 and a general procurement update, covering proposed areas of legislative reform together with other relevant updates.
The first of these live sessions will take place on Wednesday 26 January 2022, and will be run by Robin Fallas, Duncan Osler and Gwen Murphy.
