MacRoberts is delighted that one of our trainee solicitors has been elected to the Scottish Young Lawyers’ Association (SYLA) committee.

Megan Lukins, a trainee solicitor in the Banking & Finance team, was elected to the non-executive committee for 2018-19 at the AGM on 17th May.

The AGM also saw Jessica Weir, a banking and finance solicitor at Brodies, elected as president. The executive committee also comprises Ayla Iridag (Clyde & Co) as vice president, Graham Gibson (Clydesdale & Yorkshire Bank) as secretary and Dominique McErlane (Brodies) as treasurer.

Lucy Thornton (Anderson Strathern LLP) remains on the committee as past president. Alongside Megan, those elected to the non-executive committee were Ilaria Moretti (Anderson Strathern), Laila Kennedy (LLB student at University of Aberdeen), Lucy Deakin (Brodies), Chiara Pieri (Digby Brown), Jamie Russell (DWF) and Claire Paterson (Slater and Gordon).
