As part of Cyber Scotland Week, which takes place from 22-28 February 2021, MacRoberts is delighted to join the British Standards Institution (BSI) for a live webinar which will discuss ISO standards, information security and business continuity.
This webinar, which takes place at 2.00pm GMT on Thursday 25 February, will introduce delegates to what ISO standards are and how implementing them can help with a range of issues from Information Security to Business Continuity. Director of Marketing & Business Development Laura Wilson and Risk Manager Phil McCrossan will also share MacRoberts' experience of how ISO standards have helped the firm.
Increasing the protection around data can prevent that data being used in its normal business crucial function. BSI has a range of standards within the personal data, information security and business continuity sphere, and their experts will demonstrate why these are so crucial and how you can go about implementing them within your business.
This webinar will include:
- An understanding of what ISO standards and management systems are
- An introduction to ISO 27001 Information Security Management System and how this can help you to keep your confidential information safe
- An introduction to ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management System and how this can help you minimise the impact of disruptive incidents
- A chance to hear from MacRoberts who have implemented multiple ISO standards and what this means for the firm
