Chisholm Hunter instruct MacRoberts LLP to act in acquisition of Princes Street store
MacRoberts LLP, one of Scotland’s leading commercial law firms, acted for the UK’s award-winning premium jeweller and diamond specialist Chisholm Hunter in acquiring a prime site in Princes Street, Edinburgh.
Chisholm Hunter, with almost 300 staff and stores nationwide, is celebrating its 160th year. Harry Brown CEO continually looks for expansion opportunities in both the existing estate and new locations.
Niche agents Syme Property Consultancy acted for Chisholm Hunter in purchasing the retail investment.
The stunning building features a unique champagne bar and designated Swiss timepiece room. Chisholm Hunter is the only jeweller in Scotland to stock the prestigious global watch brands Breguet, Blancpain and Vacheron Constantin – each founded in the 1700s and inspired by history, art and chronological technology.
Harry Brown, CEO of Chisholm Hunter said,
“We put the customer at the heart of our business and we invest and grow our stores in response to demand. Our customers are looking for luxury, personalised shopping experience, with help from members of staff who are experts in their fields. Princes Street will provide just that with its Bond Street feel. We’re looking forward to continuing to grow and strengthen our business now and in the future.”
Kelsey Gibson, Partner at MacRoberts said,
