MacRoberts has added to its Employment Law team with the arrival of Senior Associate Eleanor Mannion. Eleanor is an accredited specialist in employment law and joins the firm from Renfrewshire Council, where she was previously Senior Employment Solicitor.

MacRoberts LLP is delighted to be on board as a core sponsor of the Social Enterprise World Forum (SEWF) in Scotland in 2018. 10 years since the first ever SEWF event in Scotland, CEiS – the founders of SEWF and the organisers of the 2018 events – is set to welcome over 1,000 social enterprise delegates from across the world to Scotland’s capital.
Over the last three years, as a firm we have been involved in the purchase or sale of around 20 different veterinary practices, with deal sizes exceeding £7m throughout the UK. This work came from an initial contact in the industry and then doing a good job on the sale – as a result, we are now getting recommended to owners looking to sell and average one transaction every couple of months. Members of our Corporate team, Alan Kelly, Gary Baines, Hamish Campbell and Bonar Mercer, have been primarily involved in this work.
