Diversity & Wellbeing
  • What work experience do we offer?

Our work experience allows young people from less privileged backgrounds to gain insight into the many different jobs which exist in a law firm. Students are given the chance to work alongside our lawyers on live matters and have exposure to our clients. Students also get the chance to visit different departments so that they can gain an insight into aspects of our business other than law i.e our professional support services such as IT, marketing and HR. Students are assigned a mentor to offer day to day support and guidance during the work placement.

    When does it happen?

Our application process for work experience placements in 2019 is now closed.

There will be further work experience opportunities in 2020 and information about this will be published nearer the time.

    Who can apply?

Students who meet the PRIME criteria, namely those who are:

    • S2 to S6 in Scotland; and
    • Attend a state (non-fee paying) school; and
    • Be of the first generation in their immediate family to attend university
    How do I apply?

Details of our application process and closing data for a placement commencing in 2020 will be available early next year.
