Solicitor (NQ), Employment - Glasgow

We currently have an opportunity to join our Employment team in Glasgow.

The Role

The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of employment related matters including advising and representing clients in Employment Tribunals on both contentious and non-contentious work in the areas of unfair dismissal, employment contracts, discrimination and redundancy.  The successful candidate will also get involved in a number of business development activities.

Education/Experience

Applicants should be able to demonstrate an interest in this area and previous experience in Employment Law would be an advantage.  Applicants should have the ability to deal with a broad range of matters.  In addition, it would be preferable to have previous experience in providing assistance on corporate/projects support work and also client training.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate a confident approach together with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good problem solving skills are required along with the ability to think commercially.

Location

Whilst primarily based in Glasgow, the successful candidate may from time to time be required to work in our Edinburgh and Dundee offices.
