In a difficult economic climate, performance bonds can be an important form of protection for Employers if their construction contractor becomes insolvent or defaults under the contract.

There is however a lack of uniformity in the type and wording of the performance bonds that are sought. Our speakers will consider what sorts of performance bond Employers should ask for, and what Contractors should be willing to provide.
