It is important to get a good start to your career in the law and, with this in mind, our Trainee programme has been designed to enable you to get the most from a combination of on-the-job training, courses and seminars.
We aim to attract high-calibre Trainees who will contribute to the success of our business. Academic achievement is, of course, important: however, we pay a lot of attention to your personal characteristics. We are looking for excellent communication skills, sound planning and organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
University Law Fairs: We attend autumn law fairs at Edinburgh, Glasgow, Strathclyde and Aberdeen Universities in the period leading up to our closing date for traineeship applications and would be pleased to meet you and let you have more information about MacRoberts and our traineeship programme there. You would also have the opportunity to meet with some of our current trainees.
Interviews take place in our offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh during November. If you are successful, we like to keep in contact with you in the run-up to the commencement of your Traineeship - we will invite you to social events to give you the opportunity to meet with some of our Partners and current Trainees and also let you meet other Trainees who will be joining at the same time as you.
Our closing date for 2013 and 2014 has passed and we are not accepting any further applications.
