Peter heads our Pensions & Employee Benefits Group and MacRoberts Trustees Limited, our independent professional trustee service.
With degrees in English and Scots Law, he is an accredited specialist in pension law; a former winner of the NAPF and Scottish Group Prizes in the Pensions Management Institute examinations; a Pensions Advisory (TPAS) adviser and serves on pension committee of the Institute of Directors.
Peter authored the Scottish section of Tolley's Pensions Law, a major UK legal textbook.
He provides specialist pensions law advice to employers, trustees and public bodies in relation to both private and public sector pension schemes and in the context of corporate and project transactions, pension mergers and investments.
Peter also designs and advises on employee share and incentive schemes for employers and in the context of employee buy-outs and restructurings of privately owned companies.
