David has over 25 years experience in construction and engineering law.
His construction practice extends to advising on all types of construction procurement, including railways, hospitals and commercial developments.
He also regularly advises on public sector outsourcing and partnering contracts, and also on facilities management contracts.
David is a specialist in PFI/PPP projects with a particular emphasis on construction and facilities management contracts.
He is a contributor to the Butterworths PFI Manual and co-editor of “MacRoberts on Scottish Building Contracts” and is on the editorial board of the Scottish Construction Law Review.
He is also a lecturer and examiner on PFI/PPP in the LLM degree in Construction Law at Strathclyde University.
