Jamie has particular experience and expertise in Environmental and Planning Law and is a leading member of MacRoberts Planning and Environment Groups.
His extensive Environmental and Planning Law experience includes advising in relation to the Planning aspects of major PPP projects, including a large number of sewerage schemes throughout Scotland; an NHS Trust with regard to contaminated land and section 69 (planning) agreement and diversions of rights of way; and a transport scheme with regard to questions of CPO and nuisance.
In the Environmental Law field, he has been engaged in the preparation of Environmental pro forma documentation, design of a mechanism for major post-completion, investigation and remediation of contaminated sites, advising various landowners concerning their liability for contaminated land and waste disposal clients concerning their liability for land fill sites.
