The conference attracted several other high profile speakers and delegates, and covered issues including government and economic growth; future opportunities - finding the Scottish niche amid globalisation; the future of the public sector in Scotland; the energy prospects for Scotland within CO2 constraints; parliament and people - democracy taking root; and US/Scottish relations - past, present, future.
